Four months ago we adopted a rescue dog who needed obedience training. She is a great dog, but needed a little help with recall. I've tried various collars in the past with other dogs but never found one that I liked. I just bought this collar from chewy, introduced it to our dog, and we had her off leash within 24 hours for the first time. The instructions were easy to follow, and the remote is simple to understand. I've only charged it once since we got it, and it's going on two weeks. We only use the beep or vibration function to get her attention, along with a command. We haven't used the shock function, and are reserving that in case she gets out of the yard. We remove the collar once we are inside to avoid irritating her skin. This has been the best purchase I've made in a long time. Highly recommended.
